Refunds & Cancellations Policy

At the Himalayan Association for Sustainable Development (HASD), we strive to provide transparent and fair refund and cancellation policies. Please read the following terms carefully before making any payments or donations.
1. Donations
1.1 Donations made to HASD are generally non-refundable. However, if a donation was made in error or an incorrect amount was processed, you may request a refund within 7 days of the transaction date. 1.2 Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to himalayanasd20@gmail.com, including transaction details and a valid reason for the request. 1.3 Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days via the original payment method.
2. Event Registrations & Program Fees
2.1 If you have registered for an event or program organized by HASD and need to cancel, you may be eligible for a refund based on the following schedule:

Cancellations made at least 15 days before the event: 100% refund.

Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before the event: 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event: No refund. 2.2 Refund requests must be submitted via email, and approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days after approval.
3. Merchandise & Product Purchases
3.1 If you purchase merchandise from HASD and receive a defective or incorrect item, you may request a refund or replacement within 7 days of receiving the product. 3.2 The product must be unused and returned in its original packaging. 3.3 Refunds for merchandise will be processed within 7-14 business days after receiving the returned item.
4. Service Cancellations
4.1 If you have availed of any paid service from HASD and wish to cancel, refund eligibility will be determined based on the service terms agreed upon at the time of purchase. 4.2 Minimum processing time for refunds is 5 business days, while the maximum processing time is 15 business days depending on the nature of the request.
